"Verne and Jane Workman are legends in the H-D legacy of dealers. Indeed, the whole Workman's Harley Davidson crew are testaments to what is best about motorcycle culture. Allow me this real-life explanation:
I purchased an used 2009 Heritage Soft tail Classic on Sept. 9, 2021. The bike was in my price range and Verne offered me a discount - much appreciated. Not only that but since I drove my car to his dealership he let me keep it in the parking lot until a friend could give me a lift to get it moved. I had to ride the Heritage home.
During the financing process, Nick [finance dept.] and Jane [owner] were instrumental in sorting out a problem with how Illinois misappropriated the title to the bike. It took them over two hours on the phone to accomplish this but in the end everything worked out fine.
Let's move on to service. Tom Workman explained all the "ins & outs" of the motorcycle and provided a free tank of high octane fuel. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Fast forward three weeks... I put approximately 200 miles on my ride and started to smell gas. Sure enough, there was a leak. I called and Tom Workman answered. He told me, "ride over and we can get this fixed today." I wasn't expecting such fast service but thankfully the parts I needed were in stock.
Todd was my service tech and he had me back on the road within a couple hours. He answered all my questions and was the most professional and helpful person I've met in a maintenance department.
While I was waiting for repairs, I had a chance to look around the showroom. I found a helmet which Jane helped me package. Every rider should have a 'brain bucket'.
When checking out at the counter, I met a customer service representative who is a shining star. I wish I knew his name but sometimes being anonymous is the best reward. This guy gave me 15% off the helmet PLUS he was kind enough to buy me a Harley 'gremlin bell'. Not only that but he installed it for me! Who could ask for more?
Thank you all for what you do and what you give to our community. I am beyond impressed!"
